Constructivism is a style of teaching that we are beginning to use in our classroom. This simply means your child is learning by actively constructing their own meaning. The constructivist approach focuses on brain friendly teaching like processing information, making the meaning personal and unique, and the use of higher-order thinking skills. Students of all ages need activities in order to process what they are learning. The main goal for our classroom is to become learners who construct our own understanding through activities and reflection!
